Backpackers Ritz

Gardens were very pretty and spacious perfect for finishing a trashy Katie Price "novel" or taking photos of the flora, fauna or view. Cakes? The Ritz is a stones throw away from THE BEST bakery, super cheap, super fresh, just super! The space relates to the room we had, it was perfect for the two of us to pack, re-pack, pack for safari, un-pack, give up and start all over again. Also the storage space for leaving bags when we went off on safari was very roomy and very secure.

Very friendly, helpful staff! Safe location, and near to a big shopping mall which has everything you could possibly need including restaraunts etc! Would definately stay there again.

Easy to meet people with a very sociable common area. Staff are excellent and know (and remember) everyone's name from the moment you arrive. They have plenty of advice and tours for things to do. The hostel is a 5 min (very safe) walk from two shopping centres with all the amenities you could want (supermarket, pharmacy, cinema, bakery for great breakfast and much more!).

standard dorms with ensuite showers, breakfast was very nice and staff friendly.

They were all so friendley and they were happy to help if they could and help sort out problems!! I had a fantastic time and everyone was so happy!!

Nice area (with amazing bakery down the road). Good garden area to chill out in and decent place before or after your tour

The location was breathtaking and together with the extremely friendlt staff and fellow backpackers, I enjoyed probably mu best stay whilst in South Africa...definitely one to go to again!
