Take a drink of fresh coconut at one of the farmer's homes. Glimpse jungle birds and monkeys, terraced rice paddies and lush forest as your mount ambles homeward-bound.

Thai Boxing in Bangkok

Once you have met your guide at your hotel you will head off towards the historical buildings located to the north and the south of the Forbidden City. You will visit the famous Dashilan Street which is crammed with shops, restaurants, min markets, theatres and tea houses. You can buy pretty much anything you like here; food, children's kites, tobacco, kerosene lamps, matches...the list is endless. Next stop is Liulichang Antique Street - where you can practice your bartering skills for antiques, calligraphy brushes, jades, chops, seals, paintings and much much more. Once you've had enough retail therapy you'll speed off to Beihai Park, one of the most authentically preserved imperial gardens in China, and then off to the Drum and Bell Tower, Shicha Lake and the surrounding Hutongs. After a quick visit to the best-kept court yard house in Beijing, Prince Gong's Palace you'll head off to the highlight of the tour, a visit to a family in their traditional house. Its thirsty work all that cycling so the final stop of the day will be at a traditional Chinese Tea House where you will experience a proper Chinese tea ceremony and you'll be able to quench your thirst with a tasting session!
